KHS student athletic trainer helps save life on the way to church

C. E. King High School junior Joshua Early was recognized by the Sheldon ISD school board on March 21 for helping save a life on Sunday, March 19.
While on his way to church, Early arrived upon an accident that had just occurred. A female passenger was reportedly ejected from the vehicle and suffered multiple injuries. 
Early, who also serves as a student athletic trainer at KHS, was able to assist and provide immediate first aid which proved to be critical for this young lady. Also, he was able to further assist the paramedics once they arrived on the scene.   

Early was recognized for his heroics by receiving a standing ovation at the March 21 school board meeting, and he also received handshakes and well wishes from Sheldon ISD Superintendent King Davis as well as SISD school board members.
